An Italian Studies minor is an interdisciplinary course of study that centers on the language, literature, culture, and history of Italy. The Italian Studies minor consists of five courses numbered 130 or higher including either ITALN-200 or ITALN-220 and at least one elective course chosen from among current ITALN courses in translation, and one other course taught in translation from the list of approved courses below. In consultation with the program director, other courses may be considered for approval towards the minor, including electives taken during study abroad in Italy. ITALN-298 is a ¼ credit course that can be applied towards the minor only if taken four times in conjunction with different ITALN courses that are taught in translation.
