Pell Grants

Federal Pell Grants usually are awarded only to undergraduate students who display exceptional financial need and have not earned a bachelor's, graduate, or professional degree. The amount of an individual's award is determined by the Pell Grant eligibility formula and information included in the student's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application. For the 2024-25 award year, the minimum Pell Grant amount is $740 and the maximum Pell Grant amount is $7,395. Grant amounts may be adjusted annually to reflect amounts authorized and appropriated by the federal government.

In order to continue receiving awards, a student must make satisfactory academic progress, must not owe any refunds to the Federal Pell Grant or other federal student aid programs, or be in default on repayment of any federal student loan.
