The concentration in Religious Studies consists of nine courses.
Take one RELST 100-level course.
Take Imagining Religions (RELST 291).
Concentrators should take Imagining Religions (RELST 291) before entering the senior year, if possible.
Take one RELST elective at any level.
Take five RELST electives at the 200-level or higher. At least two must be at the 300-level.
At least one elective must be designated as "Location"; at least one elective must be designated as "Interpretation"; at least one elective must be designated as "Application." At least one of the 300-level courses must be designated as "Research and Writing."
Take the Senior Project Seminar (RELST 498).
Senior Project Seminar is offered each fall. Concentrators should prepare by taking Imagining Religions (RELST 291) and a 300-level RELST Research and Writing course.
