THETR-221 Modern/Postmodern Performance Texts in European and American Theatre

This course will focus on performance texts and practices from the late nineteenth to the early twenty-first century. Through readings and informal performance of texts, this course examines why and how these canonical works continue to influence and remain part of our contemporary theatre landscape. No acting experience necessary but students are expected to participate in readings.
