PSYCH-368 Animal Behavior
Study of animal behavior examining how evolutionary, ecological, genetic, neurological, and cognitive mechanisms influence the behavior of animals. The course will also cover how behavior is modified by learning/training and changes in the environment. Topics include animal communication, territoriality, reproductive behavior, complex social systems, and sensory capabilities. Lecture and discussion of articles from the primary literature.
