CHEM-330 Chemistry in Space: Chemical Dynamics of Planetary Bodies

A close look at the early conditions that enabled Earth to transition from simple chemistry to microscopic and complex life along with the unique chemistry of Venus, Mars, Europa, Enceladus, Titan, and exoplanets beyond the Sun. Topics include whether Earth is the only planetary body where the right conditions for life exist and whether other planetary bodies have the chemical ingredients and the necessary conditions to develop and sustain microscopic life.
