BIO-222 Human Anatomy

Exploration of the structure and function of human tissues, organs and systems with an introduction to basic pathology and diagnostic tools. This course emphasizes physiological function and the role of anatomical form in these processes. Examines skeletal, muscular, endocrine, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and reproductive systems of humans. Thoughtful dissections of animal model systems and analysis of histology will be the focus of the laboratory.
