NEURO-370 Stress and Resilience

A study of how interactions between mind, body, and society contribute to stress and resilience. In this class we will examine the interplay between various neurobiological, psychological, social, and environmental factors that contribute to individual differences in stress reactivity, recovery, and resilience. An emphasis will be placed on using insights gained from neuroscientific and psychological research to inform the development of interventions and policies. Students will reflect upon their own coping strategies and mental health policy stances through activities and written assignments.
