NEURO-354 Biological Mechanisms of Neuropsychiatric Disease

Neuropsychiatric diseases (such as schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder, and Alzheimer’s) frequently produce recognizable symptoms; however, their molecular origins remain a mystery. In this course, we will investigate what is known about these diseases and examine unanswered questions about their underlying mechanisms. We will delve into the recent primary literature, learn about current research techniques, and explore cutting-edge treatment options.
