HSPST-200 Exploring Hispanic Texts
Introductory study of literature and culture from the Hispanic world (Spain, Latin America, and Hispanic United States), with an emphasis on refining oral and written skills in Spanish. Focus on written and oral argumentation, and textual analysis of various literary genres, including narrative, poetry, essay and drama. Additional cultural material studied includes film, art, music, and contemporary social issues. Advanced grammar in context and vocabulary building.
