HIST-341 Topic: Studies in Early American History

Topic for Spring 2026: Writing Early American History. This historiographical seminar focuses on some of the most influential scholarly works of the past century, works that transformed the study of early American history. We will examine monographs that influenced the study of slavery, witchcraft, religion, gender, Native American life, immigration, economics, and politics in colonial British North America.
