DANCE-318 Advanced Martial Arts and Dance II
A further continuation and development of skills and knowledge that were learned in 208/308, with more emphasis on individual exploration, and creative work. Martial cultures/performance forms originating in China, Brazil, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Japan will be the main focus for source material. Historical, cultural, and philosophical readings will add to further understanding of these approaches.
