CLASC-105 Classical Mythology

An introduction to ancient Greek and Roman mythology, in the context of the wider Mediterranean world, through readings from sources such as Gilgamesh, Egyptian mythology, Homer, Hesiod, Greek tragedy, Herodotus, Livy, Ovid, and contemporary mythmakers. Origins, creation myths, divinities and heroes, and mystery religions.
