ART-308 Advanced Sculpture: Form/Surface/Content

This course explores form, surface and content at an advanced level, questioning how sculpture can most effectively engage the viewer’s mind and body. Students will develop their own studio practices while experimenting with a broad range of techniques, including carving in wood and wax; mold-making and casting in plaster, resin, and silicone; and digital rendering and 3D printing.
