AIIS-305 Seminar: Indigenous Christianities

Who owns Christianity? By the twenty-first century, the heartland of Christianity has shifted from Europe and North America to the Global South (Latin America, Africa, and Asia). Topics include the global reach of Christian missions and local appropriations of Christianity, with a primary focus on Native American and Indigenous Peoples in the present.
