GOVT-366 Chinese Foreign Policy
China’s ascendance as a global power has been dramatic. In this course, we will analyze the external and domestic determinants of Chinese foreign policy and the political, military, and economic implications of this shift in power for the rest of the world. We will examine what drives China’s interactions with other states,investigate competing sources of ideas and policy change, and engage in foreign policy analysis.
