GOVT-384 Comparative Political Thought

This course will explore the sub-field of comparative political thought, which broadly aims to expand the study of political thought beyond the traditional Western canon. Readings will include the works of non-Western thinkers, as well as writings on different approaches to the study of comparative political theory. Geographic areas of interest may include Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. Selected thinkers may include Rizal, Gandhi, Fanon, and more.
