GEOSC-314 Experiences in Geophysics

Geophysics is the study of Earth's subsurface through the use of instruments that use magnetics, gravity, or acoustic waves. This project-based course will give students hands-on experience with a variety of geophysical methods and provide a foundation in geophysical concepts. Most projects will begin with field data collection on or near Hamilton's campus, and students will use software to make models and present results and interpretations to peers.
