GEOSC-250 Seminar on Geology of the Desert Southwest
This is a half-credit seminar to prepare students for GEOSC 291 (Field Studies in the Desert Southwest). Students will meet for 3 hours every other week to learn about the geologic and human history of the southwestern United States, with an emphasis on the large-scale geologic processes that shaped Arizona and how humans interact with, and modify, the natural environment.
