ENVST-320 Renewable Energy Systems
This course explores the scientific, technical and policy dimensions of renewable energy technologies. Focused on the primary literature, the course builds on case studies of solar power, wind power, electrification, electric vehicles, and battery technology. The course will review the current state of policy avenues for deployment of these technologies and the social and political challenges involved. Discussions in class will emphasize the human dimensions of renewable energy deployment and the course will engage with area stakeholders engaged in renewable energy deployment around Clinton.
