BIO-200 Microscopy Fundamentals and Applications

This course is a broad introduction to many common types of microscopy (bright field, confocal microscopy, electron microscopy). In addition to learning the theoretical foundations, students will also get hands-on practice with microscopes throughout the semester. The course will also cover the basics of digital image acquisition, processing, and analysis. Three hours a week, split between class and lab.
