PPOL-415 Urban Homelessness and Social Policy in the U.S

Examination of the role of history in contemporary understandings of urban homelessness; the causes and consequences of urban homelessness; and the diversity of homeless people and their experiences in light of policies designed to address urban homelessness. Case studies from throughout the United States, with special emphasis to New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
