MUSIC-280 Intermediate Aural Skills

A continuation of 180. Development of aural understanding through sight-singing and dictation. Tonic and dominant arpeggiation in inversion, diatonic melodies with simple modulation, further work in minor keys, introduction to alto and tenor clefs, chromatic intervals, harmonic progressions, rhythms in mixed meters, modal scales. May be repeated for credit with the consent of instructor. One-half course credit.
