GEOSC-213 Fire and Ice: Seminar on the Geology of Iceland in a Global Context

Iceland plays a critical role in our understanding of volcanic, glacial, and plate tectonic processes. In this seminar, students will engage in a collaborative, in-depth exploration of the unique interactions among volcanic, glacial, and hydrologic processes in Iceland in the context of climate change through analysis of geologic data sets, maps, and the geologic literature and discussion of the results of their analyses.
