ENVST-280 Designing Community Conversations on Environmental Topics

Community Conversations is an experiential learning course focused on designing and implementing community-based conversations on environmental issues relevant to our area. Students in the Community Conversations spring course must have completed an intensive facilitation workshop offered through the Levitt Center. This follow-on course provides the opportunity for students to put their training into practice by designing,  recruiting participants for, and facilitating a community meeting centered on deliberative dialogue related to a relevant environmental issue. Students will work in partnership with community members to create and implement a useful dialogue.
