EDUC-218 Educating Students with Disabilities/Policy and Practice
This course primarily focuses on the needs of students with educational disabilities, health care needs and students from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and linguistic backgrounds. Aspects of the course include identifying students’ strengths and needs, differentiating and/or individualizing instruction, collaborating with educators and service professionals, and delivering instruction that is universally designed to maximize access for all learners.
