This course provides an understanding of the importance of ethnography to the consideration of issues introduced in EDUC-102 (previously taught as EDUC-200). What is ethnography as a methodology for exploring education? Students will practice methods such as participant observation, interviews, and oral history through in-class exercises, as well as conduct an ethnographic project of their own.
