EDUC-202 Methods of Tutoring English to Speakers of Other Languages II

Familiarizes students with ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) methods and materials. Emphasis on adapting them for tutorial use in various settings. Close examination of refugee communities with primary focus on Utica. Study of cultural, educational, and social effects of refugees.  Course may be repeated for credit.
