ECON-423 Urban Poverty and Inequality

Topics in microeconomics related to poverty and inequality especially in urban settings. Topics include neighborhood effects, psychological consequences of poverty, education, health, homelessness, discrimination, and network effects. Students will learn to read critically the existing literature. Focus on the methods used to answer important and policy-relevant questions.
