COLEG-291 LACOL Summer Digital Humanities
The Summer Digital Humanities class is intended for students at a beginning to intermediate level with at least some familiarity with digital scholarship techniques and practices. Applicant considering this course should feel familiar with at least 2 of these concepts: Common file formats: CSV, txt, jpg, png; Spreadsheets; screen-scraping data from a website; command line (file paths, basic commands); regular expressions
HTML, CSS, or other aspects of web design; Familiarity with basic scripting or coding (examples: Python, R or similar).
