COLEG-104 Numbers in Nature

This course will explore mathematical patterns found in nature, such as tessellations, the Fibonacci sequence, the golden ratio, and pi. Students will work in small groups to make observations, discover relationships, and solve problems in the context of the natural world. Emphasis will be on the process by which the student discovers and draws conclusions from patterns.
