CHEM-361 Advanced Organic Spectroscopy

A study of advanced topics in NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry with a focus on practical interpretation of spectra. Topics include NMR theory, chemical shift, spin-spin coupling, dynamic NMR, 2D NMR techniques (COSY, NOESY, HSQC/HMQC, HMBC), methods of ionization in mass spectrometry, and interpretation of mass spectral fragmentation patterns.
