BIO-424 Seminar in Evolutionary Biology

This course will cover the fundamental principles of evolutionary biology by focusing on the processes of evolution and the patterns we can observe as a result of these processes. Students will learn to build and interpret phylogenies (using trait data, molecular sequence data, and fossil calibration). Students will also gain experience reading, interpreting, and discussing primary scientific literature.
