ANTHR-121 Humor: Culture, Interaction, and Politics

Introduces the benefits of considering theoretical approaches, research methodologies, and data together and as interrelated in the production of anthropological scholarship. Stresses the gendered, racialized, and classed dimensions of humor, and the ways the exploration of such dimensions affords insights to questions about inequality, but also the possibilities of conscious reflection and subversion.
