GOVT-419 Linowitz Seminar: Humanitarian and International Development Issues

Analysis of the challenges and dilemmas in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals backed by world leaders in 2015 and commitments made at the 2016 World Humanitarian Summit. This course will explore the drivers, issues, challenges and roles of government, international organizations, NGOs and the private sector in addressing the issues of inequality and humanitarian crises with a big focus on NGOs. This will be an interactive seminar with case studies, role playing, and student presentations.
